When I was in Saudi I honestly missed it so much! I grew up in Spokane but we went to a little town in Idaho where my mom was raised all through my childhood. So I spent a great deal of time here and it is amazing. It really changes daily. Each day the fields roll green, yellow and brown. It’s gorgeous
I’m reading a book about Saffron – this looks like the fields of purple wth their tiny window before the stamens spoil. Just beautiful even if you aren’t as fanciful as me. 🙂

Is it lupins or is it lavender, Lyn? I have lupins in my front garden and they are quite tall. I have seen lavender grow in fields like this.
